It is very important to forgive. Sometimes we hold grudges towards people or even towards ourselves. But resentment is not a good feeling to have and little by little, it creeps into our hearts making us one more time recreate that particular moment when someone offended us or wronged us. It doesn’t allow us to continue on our beautiful “life” journey. Instead, it holds us back. So today, I pray that I can forgive all the people who had wronged me over the years and that they can open their hearts and forgive me in return. I offer my apologies, but also confess my faults and wrong doings to God and hope that by forgiving others and taking resentment out of my life I can be forgiven one day. I hope we can all forgive, at least let’s try (I know it’s hard). Leave behind all those awful feelings and take life one day at a time. Without anger and without anguish, but with an honest smile, lot’s of humility and the desire to forgive one another.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
2 Corinthians 2:5-8
“If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you to some extent—not to put it too severely. The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.”
